For example, they were going to be out of the county or were disabled. Early voting has been without excuse in Illinois and I believe other states. New Illinois election law changed this to make absentee voting without excuse as well so there is now no distinction between the two. Everyone behind the counter was efficient and courteous, and it all went quickly. It is so nice not to have to rush out on Election Day after we leave work and pick up our daughter from day care.
