I’ve been loosely associated with Mark Shelden for about as long as he’s been County Clerk. He lets his staff do their jobs [and very well I might add].

I have actually been asked if I ever wanted to aspire to public office; my reply was ‘the only office I would consider is being held by a person with so much integrity, the only campaign I could mount against him is that he’s been in office for so long, he could use a break.’

Therefore — I won’t be running for county clerk in the near future.
